The man in charge of security for the Hospital Sisters Health System has been honored by the Department of Defense.
Clint Schafer was named the recipient of the Patriot Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), established by the DoD.
The Patriot Award is presented to employers who not only hire Guard and Reserve members but demonstrate superior support to the military employee and his/her family.
Clint was nominated for this prestigious, national award by Michael Aschinger, Manager of Security for HSHS hospitals in Green Bay, Sheboygan, and Oconto Falls, and Command Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Clint serves as Executive Director of Security for all six HSHS hospitals across Wisconsin and served three years as a military police officer in the U.S. Army in Europe.
