In football, the team that dominates the line of scrimmage usually wins the game.
Same story in volleyball – the team that dominates at the net is usually the winner.
It worked for the defending national champion Wisconsin Badgers at Indiana Wednesday night.
Wisconsin swept the Hoosiers three sets to none.
The Badgers had 13 blocks to just four for Indiana and Izzy Ashburn led the way with 17 assists.
Head coach Kelly Sheffield gave graduate student Danielle Hart for being “pretty much unstoppable.”
Hart had eight blocks and 10 kills.
Sophomore Sarah Franklin led UW with 13 kills.
Sheffield’s team has a 10-and-3 record and stays on the road for a Saturday match at Purdue.
