Visit Manitowoc now has its own visual identity.
The City of Manitowoc’s Tourism Department held an unveiling party last evening at the Capitol Civic Center, where they unveiled the new logo.
Courtney Hansen, the city’s Tourism Director, described the logo as an “abstract Manitowoc ‘M’ that was inspired by the waves of Lake Michigan, the sails of boats in the marina that also nod to our rich shipbuilding history, and the landscaping of our farmland.”
The logo’s color scheme has “a primary family of blues that nod to Manitowoc’s beautiful lakeshore, secondary accent colors, and neutrals. The broad palette offers Visit Manitowoc creative freedom and new opportunities in marketing efforts.”
Hansen also stated that “We strongly believe that the future of tourism has never been brighter in Manitowoc. This fresh, new brand will aid in showcasing and elevating our destination to make a profound economic impact across our community through tourism.”
