The Green Bay Packers’ offensive struggles continued yesterday as they fell to Washington 23-21.
Things started out well, with the offense scoring a touchdown in the 1st quarter, but they weren’t able to muster another score until the 4th quarter.
The defense did their part, scoring on a pick-six in the second, giving the Pack a 14-10 lead entering halftime.
The defense nearly had another score but a fumble returned for a touchdown was called back on an Illegal Contact penalty.
Aaron Rodgers threw for only 194 yards and a pair of touchdowns, both to Aaron Jones, while Taylor Heinicke threw for 201 yards, and two touchdowns, but also had that interception.
Things aren’t going to get any easier for the Packers, as they will be back on the road battling the Buffalo Bills next weekend.
