We have the 11th and final week of the Manitowoc County High School Cross Country Honor Roll.
The top 10 runners on the Girls’ side this Fall includes Mikaela Helling of Two Rivers with an area-best time of 18:33 in the 5k.
She is followed in order by Reedsville’s Allena O’Connell, Brooke Lau of Valders, Lily Watson of Kiel, Hannah Welch of Valders, Sarah Bolchen of Manitowoc Lincoln, the Kiel duo of Addison Vogel and Zoe Watson, Ava Meulemans of Reedsville and Lillian Larson of Kiel.
The Boys’ Top-10 runners featured Manitowoc Lincoln’s Mason Gates at the top of the list with a time of 15:28.
He is followed by Roncalli’s Brayden Yanda, Kiel harriers Ethan Vander Meer and Pierce Arenz, Eli Gallagher of Two Rivers, Caleb Jatczak from Manitowoc Lincoln, Brayden Sabel of Valders, Reedsville’s Hunter Taddy and the Two Rivers combo of Carson Kadow and Brice Radandt.
Abbey and Michael Bubolz, co-authors of the weekly cross country honor roll, congratulated the athletes on their seasons adding, “We have some talented runners in our area and it was fun to see the progression of our area kids as the season went on.”
