Banks and credit unions in Sheboygan County are squaring off to help support the Salvation Army of Sheboygan County.
Nine financial institutions are partaking in the annual Battle of the Banks and Credit Unions on Wednesday, December 7th, to help raise money for the local organization.
Partaking in this year’s Battle are BMO Harris, HSA Bank, Kohler Credit Union, Marine Credit Union, and UnitedOne Credit Union in Sheboygan, Johnson Financial Group in Kohler, Meadowland Credit Union in Sheboygan Falls, National Exchange Bank in Howards Grove, and Oostburg State Bank in Oostburg.
Johnson Financial Group, HSA Bank, and Kohler Credit Union are also matching all donations received on the day of the Battle.
Salvation Army Sheboygan is aiming to raise $725,000 this Christmas season, with $120,000 of that expected from the red kettles outside of local businesses.
