The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center will be shining a light on STEM next week.
Their third STEM Week festivities will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (December 27th) through Thursday.
STEM Week will consist of three days of activities, such as a virtual reality tour of a Wisconsin cheese plant, making biodegradable plastic from corn, and barn engineering.
Visitors can also harvest potatoes, see the inside of a bone through a microscope, and learn about how pigs are identified.
In addition, STEM Week will have rotating activities each day provided by Lakeshore Technical College, Wisconsin Beef Council, Insight FS, LaClare Family Creamery, Bayland Buildings, CentralStar Cooperative, and Manitowoc County Farm Bureau.
Access to this event will be included in the price of regular Farm Wisconsin admission.
