The City of Manitowoc is continuing its work on an updated Comprehensive Plan.
This document, which is made with a lot of community feedback, is a blueprint for the City leadership to follow for both short-term and long-term growth.
The Mayor and Aldermen all use the Comprehensive Plan as a guide to make decisions for the community.
Citizens attended several workshops earlier this year as the document was put together, and the Plan will soon be ready to share with the public.
There will be an open house early next year to allow people one more chance to participate in the Comprehensive Plan creation, and a joint Plan Commission & City Council Public Hearing will be held in March.
