The cold weather over the weekend caused a lot of issues, including some burst pipes at the Above and Beyond Children’s Museum in Sheboygan.
The pipes and sprinkler system both erupted on Christmas Day, causing water to flood the building, which then froze on the floor.
In a statement, the Museum staff noted that they will be “closed indefinitely” so they can “assess the damage, clean up, and hopefully restore the basement and other areas of the museum that are damaged.”
The Museum was scheduled to reopen yesterday following the holiday weekend.
If you wish to donate to the Museum to help with the repair costs, you can do so at ABCKids.org.
