Bail is set at $1500 recognizance for a 34-year-old Manitowoc woman facing multiple charges for allegedly stealing numerous items from Walmart earlier this week.
Shawnee Reed is charged with Misdemeanor Retail Theft, Carrying a Concealed Knife, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing an Officer, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Police responded Monday evening to the Manitowoc Walmart for a theft in progress.
When questioned by officers, Reed allegedly gave them a fake name and ID.
She was taken into custody without further incident.
Conditions of bail are that Reed have no contact with Walmart or its premises and is not to possess any weapons.
She is due back in court on January 19th for an initial appearance.
Meanwhile, bail is set at $700 recognizance for 37-year-old Sylvia C. Richmond who faces charges of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping and Retail Theft.
Police responded to Walmart on the afternoon of December 22nd, where they were told that the suspect (Richmond) had driven off onto Dewey Street and was promptly pulled over.
She immediately handed over a backpack, admitting that nearly all the contents inside were stolen.
Conditions of bail are that Richmond maintain absolute sobriety and is to have no contact with Walmart.
Her initial appearance is scheduled for January 12th.
