The Smiling Moose in Osman will once again host Porta Potty Races to help benefit Lakeshore Foster Families and Friends.
Executive Director Molly Stolp explains that the event on February 25th is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
“Teams build racers that look like a porta potty,” she said while on WOMT’s Be My Guest Program. “You can have teams of 3-5, one person has to ride on the porta potty, and two to four people push.”
The races are split into two brackets in a double elimination style tournament, with a winner being crowned at the end.
The event also features music, food, drinks, games, and door prizes.
Stolp says the $40 per team sign-up is available on their website, LakeshoreFosterFamilies.org.
On the site, there is a tab designated for all things Porta Potty Races.
Stolp said that includes, “a video from last year’s event, so you can see what happened and how that all played out.”
Judges will also award “Golden Plumbers” for the most creative Porta Potty on display.
