For the fourth consecutive week, Eastern Wisconsin reported increases in the price of fuel.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County fuel rose three cents over the past week to an average of $3.17 per gallon while Sheboygan County saw a nine-cent bump to $3.16.
A four-cent increase was reported in Calumet County, where the average price per gallon is now at $3.10, while Outagamie County saw a modest three-cent rise to $3.04.
The biggest jump in the area came in Brown County, where a ten-cent increase gives them an average of $3.18.
Kewaunee County motorists are paying 3 cents more on average, now sitting at $3.18 per gallon, while Door County saw a six-cent jump to $3.17.
The state average is also at $3.17 per gallon, an increase of seven cents, while the national average is up five cents to $3.32.
The state of Wisconsin is about in the middle when compared to the cheapest and most expensive states.
Mississippi boasts the least expensive fuel, averaging $2.93 per gallon, while Hawaii is the most expensive, sitting at $4.98.
