The Sheboygan County Division of Public Heath has announced that they are investigating a small outbreak of Hepatitis A.
Much like during the COVID pandemic, contract tracing has been done for the five people with the virus, and everyone they contacted has been offed the Hepatitis A vaccine.
The virus can take between three and six weeks to manifest itself with a fever, nausea, diarrhea, dark urine, and the yellowing of the skin, better known as jaundice.
Anyone who experiences these symptoms is encouraged to contact their doctor.
You can learn more about Hepatitis A on the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website.
