The man arrested in Arkansas for his alleged role in a double homicide in Green Bay is now in the Brown County Jail.
Richard Wendell Sotka was extradited from the Mississippi County Detention Center to the Brown County Jail on Saturday.
He is accused of killing 58-year-old Rhonda Cegelski of Green Bay and 53-year-old Paula O’Connor of Bellevue late last month and has been charged with two counts of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Felony Bail Jumping, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
When he was arrested, Sotka told police he had “snapped” and admitted to killing the two women.
He also said he fled because he “knew this was his last little bit of freedom before he was caught.”
