Calling all collectors, bargain-seekers, and antique enthusiasts, the Two Rivers Historical Society is hosting its annual Rummage & Bake Sale this weekend.
It’s taking place both Saturday & Sunday at The Washington House Museum in Two Rivers at 1622 Jefferson street.
The times are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days, but the bake sale is Saturday only.
While on the WCUB Breakfast Club, Two Rivers Historical Society’s Director Tootsie Sommers talked about the wide range of donated items and baked goods.
“We have everything from dishes, holiday décor, furniture, lamps, antiques, collectibles, and toys. Some old things, some new things,” she revealed. “Then on the first floor we have our bake sale. Everything from poppyseed cake, brownies, cake, chocolate chip cookies, pies. Just a whole variety of things.”
Sommers also gave a shout-out to “all of our amazing volunteers because they’ve put so many hours into prepping and setting up, pricing and baking.”
All of the money raised from the rummage & bake sale will benefit the Washington House Museum, which is owned and operated by the Historical Society.
