There are finally charges in the death of Annette Love.
Prosecutors in Milwaukee this week filed charges in what was a cold case dating back to 1990.
Investigators say they linked the suspect, Larnell Washington, through a DNA match.
He’s currently in jail in Washington state, and it’s unclear when he’ll be brought back to Milwaukee to face the charges.
Love died in a shooting back in July of 1990.
Investigators think the shooting was gang-related.
Washington is looking at 25 years in prison if convicted in the case.
