Roncalli Middle School students will transport Manitowoc to a “world of pure imagination” with their production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka JR. next weekend.
The show is based on the classic Roald Dahl book, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” which tells the story of Charlie Bucket, who gets an opportunity to tour the candy factory owned by the eccentric Willy Wonka.
The show will include iconic songs from the film, including “The Candy Man”, “I Want It Now”, and “Pure Imagination”.
There will be performances next Friday (February 24th) and Saturday starting at 6:00 p.m., and another on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
They will all be held in the Roncalli High School Auditorium, located at 2000 Mirro Drive.
Tickets are general admission and $5 each and are available at the Roncalli Middle School office, 2109 Marshall Street during school hours, or prior to each performance.
