A very special event involving music, fun, and maybe even a bit of the luck of the Irish makes its return in 2023.
For the first time in 3 years, Shamrocks for Shelter will be up and running on Saturday, March 11th at Knox’s Silver Valley in Manitowoc.
The proceeds from the event will benefit The Haven of Manitowoc County, the city’s men’s homeless shelter.
There’ll be live music, various raffle and auction items, great food, and the always popular beanbag tournament.
Executive Director at The Haven, Michael Etheridge tells Seehafer News they’re anticipating a big day, and a big crowd.
“It’s going to be an awesome event,” he said. “The Charlie Bucket Band is back to perform, and the bean bag team tournament of course. Teams are starting to roll in, so make sure to get your registrations in.”
You can do that by giving The Haven a call at (920) 652-9110.
Etheridge also says you are encouraged to dress for the event in your favorite St. Patrick’s Day attire, and there will be prizes for the best costume.
Shamrocks for Shelter is free and open to the public.
