Manitowoc’s new riverfront 5 story apartment building has been completed and is accepting residents.
Peter Allie from Park Regency Management was a special guest this week on Welcome Home with Brandon Bartow.
Allie said they actually moved their 1st resident into the facility on Monday and explained the proximity to downtown is probably the biggest selling point.
“Anyone who wants to live (downtown), there’s the Schuette building but in terms of a lot of units this is the first building with quite a few in it,” he said. “I would just say you’re in walking distance of restaurants, museums, live music, shopping, the waterfront, you’re so close to so many things you can do.”
In speaking about the building’s amenities, Allie says there’s a lot of community space.
“There’s a full fitness room with everything supplied by the Fitness Store,” he noted. “It’s a really nice room, there’s a big lounge for the residents, there’s two big outdoor patios, a game room, there’s an office, a pet wash station and the list goes on. There’s a lot of common space that can be used by anyone that lives there.”
The management spokesman said the building offers great views and there’s two levels of parking.
And, they just installed an electric car charging station in the outdoor parking lot with more potentially on the way for the indoor lot.
Allie concluded, “it’s been a long project (40 months of planning and construction) and it’s nice to get to the finish line.”
