Boys Basketball teams from Valders, Reedsville, and Brillion all won WIAA Regional championships Saturday. The Vikings got a last-second putback to edge top-seeded Howards Grove in the Division-4 Regional final 62-to-60. The Panthers topped Oakfield 63-54 in the D-5 finale. And, the Lions defeated EWC rival Kiel 63-45 in the Division-3 title game.
The schedule for this Thursday night in the Sectional Tournament finds Valders vs. Kohler at Two Rivers High School, Reedsville meets Heritage Christian in another semifinal hosted by Fond du lac and #1 seed Brillion goes up against Campbellsport in a contest at Denmark High School. All of those games will begin at 7:00 o’clock. And, you can hear the Valders Vikings and Kohler Blue Bombers on 97.1 WCUB, starting at 6:40 Thursday evening.
