An officer with the Sheboygan Police Department has been honored by the Wisconsin Association of Women Police.
Sergeant Sarah Blodgett was named their Woman Police Officer of the year for her work as the commander of the Sheboygan County MEG Unit.
This group is tasked with “investigating narcotics trafficking within Sheboygan County.”
In a statement on Facebook, the Sheboygan Police Department praised SGT Blodgett, saying she is “an amazing role model who has strengthened relationships and increased teamwork.”
