There will be a downtown pickup tonight beginning at midnight tonight continuing into Saturday morning.
Make sure you have your snow pushed off the top of the curb onto the street to insure it will be picked up. There have been a number of instances where snow is being pushed from parking lots into the street. This is against City ordinance.
Please let your snow removal service know that citations may be given if this practice continues.
PLEASE REMEMBER:
- Snow must be pushed from the sidewalk off of the top of the curb into the parking lane of the street BEFORE midnight tonight. Crews do not pick up or remove snow on top of the curb or on the sidewalk.
- Please do not push the snow in front of your business along the parking lane into large piles. If you would like to move snow from the curb line before crews begin the cleanup, it should be placed in several small piles, not one large one. Please make sure there is visibility at all corners. Please do not push your snow in front of another business.
- Snow may NOT be moved from your private parking lot into the street. It is against City ordinance
