Monday night, during the regular meeting of the Manitowoc Common Council, the River Point Development received approval for Phase 2, when Council members voted to awarding the winning construction bid to Vinton Construction in the amount of $5,093,891.98.
Vinton was the only contractor to submit a bid for phase 2 of this project which will include streets, sidewalks, storm & sanitary sewer plus, a floating dock, kayak launch, dredging, and rip rap on the new shoreline.
