Members of the Manitowoc Lincoln High School Baseball team were honored late last week for their off-the-field conduct during the Ships Spring Training trip to Florida.
According to the Ships Facebook page, Coach Bruce Steinbecker and his squad received a Certificate of Achievement for being the best team to ever stay at Staybridge Suites.
The Lincoln players and coaches were also presented an autographed baseball, signed by the hotel management and staff, and a trophy on Friday.
The Ships were scheduled to return from their Spring break trip over the weekend.
Their season opener is set for next Monday afternoon against Kewaunee at Municipal Field.
