Major Jason Orth with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office celebrated his 25th anniversary with the Department over the weekend.
Major Orth began his time with the Sheriff’s Office in 1998 when he took his oath and became a Deputy Sheriff.
He quickly joined the leadership team, ascending to the role of Field Training Officer before continuing to climb the ladder.
He has held the positions of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Shift Commander, Deputy Inspector, and finally, his current role, Major of the Operations Division.
Orth is also the Chairperson for the Manitowoc County Traffic Safety Commission, is on the Board of Directors for Manitowoc County Crime Stoppers, and serves on several other committees.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig praised Orth in a Facebook post, saying “We congratulate Jason on this milestone and thank him for his years of dedication and service to Manitowoc County.”
