A 36-year-old Algoma man is dead following a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in The Town of Two Rivers.
Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig says a preliminary investigation indicates that the man was operating a semi-tractor and loaded trailer unit traveling on County Highway V east of Tannery Road around 9:30 a.m. when the semi entered the south ditch and overturned onto the roof of the cab.
The Algoma man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was the lone occupant of the semi and no one else was hurt.
No further information is being released at this time pending a completed investigation by The Wisconsin State Patrol.
