Even though he lost the statewide race to fill a vacant Supreme Court seat, Dan Kelly did carry Manitowoc County in Tuesday’s Spring election.
Kelly picked up 14,238 votes in our county compared to 10,571 for Janet Protasiewicz.
Meanwhile, overall county voter turnout was 38% of eligible voters with the Town of Two Creeks leading all voting locations with 56% of those eligible going to the polls on election day.
Manitowoc County Clerk Jessica Backus says the results will become official after the County Board of Canvass meets next Monday.
