21 more animals are being cared for at the Wisconsin Humane Society in Green Bay after a large-scale surrender situation.
Wednesday morning, 12 dogs and 9 cats were brought to the facility at 1830 Radisson Street after they were found housed together in pens.
All of the canines are smaller breeds and were in need of a fair amount of medical care and grooming.
Humane Society staff have noted that the felines are rather fearful and nervous around humans, but as they continue to be treated it is expected that they will become more comfortable.
Some of the animals will be going into the foster program while others will stay in the shelter to prepare for adoption.
If you would like to send a donation to help the Humane Society rehabilitate these animals you are encouraged to visit the Wisconsin Humane Society website.
