Bail is set at $1,000 cash for a 30-year-old Manitowoc man following a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
Steven Holt is facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to deliver, Marijuana and various other drugs, Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying a Concealed knife, and six counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
A Manitowoc Police Officer was on patrol on Maritime Drive when he noticed a car cross the center line.
A traffic stop was conducted in the marina parking lot with the officer stating in his report that both the female driver and a male passenger, identified as Steven Holt, exhibited “nervous behavior”.
She admitted to having used meth a day earlier adding that Holt likely had the drug on his person.
A K-9 Officer gave several positive hits which uncovered a little over 5.5 grams of meth and a used smoking device.
Conditions of bail are that Holt is to have no contact with any known drug dealers or users, not possess any dangerous weapon and maintain absolute sobriety.
Holt remains in the County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
