Three Manitowoc Lincoln pitchers combined on a 1-hit shutout Saturday during a 6-nothing victory over visiting Sheboygan North at Municipal Field.
Ships junior Noah Wech, an Oklahoma State recruit, worked the first 4 and two third innings and allowed no hits with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in the FRCC opener.
Evan Deicher came on to get the final out in the top of the 5th and Bryce Erdmann pitched the final 2 innings, giving up the only hit in the 6th.
Erdmann went 2 for 3 with an RBI to lead the offense for Lincoln, now 2-0.
Golden Raiders starter Ty Voight took the loss.
The Ships will host Valders this afternoon with a 4:30 p.m. start.
