A 36-year-old Green Bay man was arrested late Tuesday afternoon in Brown County for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with two children under the age of 16 in the vehicle.
A state trooper was on routine traffic patrol on I-43 at about 4:30 p.m. when they observed a car with numerous equipment violations and expired registration traveling southbound near Atkinson Drive.
Once the traffic stop was made, the trooper noticed signs of illegal drug use and evidence of impairment from the driver.
The man identified as Joseph Beachtree completed standardized field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for operating while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance with a minor passenger in the vehicle.
