Despite a forecast of snow flurries and sleet, the Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Tennis team was able to compete in an Invitational Tourney at Beaver Dam Saturday.
The Ships of Coach Bob Feller wound up 3rd out of 8 schools behind Plymouth and West Bend East. Lincoln came away with one champion, that being at #1 doubles where Ayden Knuth and Cohen Newberg were victorious.
Justin Liska was a runner-up finisher at 2-singles.
The Ships will be road warriors this week as they have road matches at Sheboygan North Tuesday, at De Pere Thursday, and the Super-12 tournament in the Green Bay area Friday and Saturday.
