A jury trial will be held in October for a Manitowoc man charged with First-Degree Intentional Homicide by use of a firearm.
21-year-old Joshua Walcott appeared in Manitowoc County Circuit Court Monday afternoon.
The Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center received a call just before midnight on May 17th, 2021, of a disturbance in the 1800 block of South 28th Street in Two Rivers.
Officers learned that a gun was involved and that a 17-year-old Manitowoc youth was allegedly shot by the then 19-year-old Walcott and pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the victim was not released as he was a minor at the time of his death.
Walcott remains in The County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond and he’s due back in court for a motion hearing June 2nd.
A pre-trial conference is set for September 15th and the five-day jury trial is scheduled for October 2nd through 6th.
