Manitowoc Lincoln and De Pere battled to a 2-all tie last night in Boys Baseball before the FRCC contest was suspended by darkness and rain after 7 innings.
Bryce Erdmann’s 2-out, 2-run single in the top of the 7th tied the game.
Noah Wech and Brock Peterson had 2 hits apiece for the visiting Ships who host De Pere on May 18th.
The two teams will complete the suspended game prior to their regularly scheduled contest at Municipal Field.
Lincoln is 8 and 1 while the Redbirds are 6 and 1.
In Girls Fastpitch Softball, Mishicot crushed Sevastopol 15-to-2 on the road yesterday.
Winning pitcher Cora Stodola tossed a complete-game 3-hitters, allowing no earned runs.
Stodola, along with teammates Nelson and Brouchoud had 3 hits in the victory, the Indians 5th in 6 games.
Elsewhere, New Holstein picked up a 9-to-1 EWC Softball win over Roncalli Monday.
Gretchen Kapic took the loss for the Jets, who were led offensively by Madison Keller and Ellie Jagemann each collected two hits.
The Huskies broke a 1-all tie with a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 5th.
