We were contacted by Anne Smith from Lakeside Foods, the parent company of Riverside Foods.
The Public Relations worker tells us that the employee has been discharged from the hospital.
Additionally, she tells Seeahfer News “Our primary concern is the welfare of our injured employee, and we are conducting a full investigation into what happened. The safety of our employees is our highest priority, and one accident is one too many.”

An employee of Riverside Foods in two Rivers was injured late yesterday afternoon and was flown to a hospital.
The Two Rivers Fire Department was called at 5:18 pm to the facility and reported the female employee had gotten stuck in the manufacturing equipment.
She was extricated and flown by Flight For Life to a regional hospital.
Her injuries reportedly were not life-threatening.
