Mishicot junior Cora Stodola pitched a no-hitter last night in leading the Mishicot Girls Softball team to a 14-0 five-inning victory over host Oostburg.
Stodola allowed just one baserunner, a walk to the leadoff batter for the Lady Dutch. She struck out 11 and also homered to drive in a pair of runs.
Indians teammate Katelyn Callahan enjoyed a big night at the plate going 3 for 4 including a home run, 4 RBI and 3 runs scored.
Kaelin Adair and Kiran Sanford chipped in 3 hits apiece as Coach Dawn Shimek’s ballclub pounded out 16 hits and had an errorless game in the field.
Mishicot improves to 9 and 1 overall, 5 and 0 in the Big East Conference.
