The 2023 Frieder Memorial Top 16 and Women’s Top 20 Bowling Tournaments were held last Friday at Meadow Lanes West.
According to Manitowoc County Bowling Association Manager Jason Heinzen, after a three-game qualifier, the ladies had a top-5 stepladder roll-off.
Top seed Becky Belinske was followed by Kaitlyn Lewis, Daytona Seehaver, Barb Becker, and Katie Sheridan.
In the end, Lewis defeated Belinske for the Top 20 tournament title.
The men competed in a double-elimination bracket with Jerrod Rathsack, Terry Strauss, Nick Bruckner, and Bob Leavy being the top four finishers.
Leavy wound up as the Frieder Memorial tourney champion.
