Ashwaubenon swept a pair of games from visiting Manitowoc Lincoln Saturday. In Game-1, the Jaguars won a pitcher’s duel 1-to-nothing despite a complete game 6-hitter by Karenna Sorenson. Then in Game-2, the Jaguars coasted to a 13-to-2 victory over the Ships. Ana Sanchez went 2 for 3 in a losing effort.
Roncalli meanwhile competed in a tournament Saturday and went 2 and 1 on the day.
Gretchen Kapic pitched in all 3 games for the Jets, striking out 12 and allowing 4 walks in 12 innings of work.
Ellie Jagemann totaled 10 hits and Kapic slammed 2 homeruns and knocked in 12 runs as part of her 6-hit day, according to Coach Adam Wachowski.
