
The Fond du Lac man accused of huffing and driving his car into a Verizon store has pleaded not guilty.
20-year-old Benjamin Ayer is facing eight counts of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, one count of Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle, Causing Injury While Under the Influence, and two drug-related charges in connection to the incident.
According to police reports, Ayer had huffed air duster before getting behind the wheel on April 27th.
He then slammed his car into the Verizon store located on Rolling Meadows Drive, pinning a woman between his car and the counter.
She suffered numerous broken bones and was taken to the hospital along with four others in the store and Ayer.
He is due back in court on June 1st.
