The family of a special needs child in Manitowoc has set up a medical expense fundraiser next month.
Henry Tyeptanar was born with a rare neuromuscular condition called X-Linked Myotubular Myopathy.
The condition makes his muscles very weak, so he is in a wheelchair at all times and needs a ventilator and trach in order to breathe.
Henry’s mom, Emily Tyeptanar, says the fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, June 17th from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Balde Farm, 5628 Brunner Road Manitowoc.
Organizers plan a Car Show, a 50/50 Raffle along with Raffle Baskets, Dunk Tank, a Petting Zoo, Hayrides, Bounce House and great food.
Henry was at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee for over 2 years, but now is thriving and doing well and actually just got back from his make-a-wish trip to Disney World in Orlando.
There, he was able to fulfill his wish of meeting Crush from the movie Finding Nemo and we’re told he never lets his disease bring him down.
