The Manitowoc County Recycling Center is holding a hazardous waste clean sweep this weekend for residents, farms, and businesses.
Many common items found at home such as household cleaners, pesticides, and home improvement products can become hazardous when used improperly.
Manitowoc County Agriculture Educator Angie Ulness tells us, “Farms and businesses can bring their products over to the highway shop in Manitowoc on 310 [Friday] from 2:00 to 4:00 and on Saturday from 9:00 to noon.”
Households and farms can participate for free, and businesses will receive discounted rates.
