Bail is set at $150,000 cash for a 35-year-old Manitowoc man who was arrested earlier this week after a child came forward to report she was repeatedly sexually assaulted.
Robert L. Curtis The Third is charged with Repeated Sexual Abuse of the same child and Possession of Child Pornography.
The female victim met with authorities last week and disclosed that there were seven separate incidents where Curtis had touched her inappropriately or she was forced to touch him.
She added that she was worried to come forward because Curtis would get in trouble or that he’d get mad if she told anyone about their secret.
Curtis has denied any wrongdoing.
Conditions of Bail are that Curtis have no contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18, is not to travel outside the state of Wisconsin unless approved by the court, and Curtis is not allowed to possess any internet-enabled device.
He remains in the County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for Monday afternoon at 1:30.
