An Initial court appearance scheduled for a Manitowoc man accused of child sexual assault has been adjourned until next week as he looks to retain legal consul.
35-year-old Robert L. Curtis the Third was due in Manitowoc County Circuit Court Monday afternoon on charges of Repeated Sexual Assault of The Same Child and Possession of Child Pornography.
A minor female victim came forward and met with authorities earlier this month.
She said that there were seven separate incidents where she was touched by Curtis inappropriately or she was forced to touch him.
When arrested at his home last week, Curtis denied any wrongdoing.
He remains in The County Jail on $150,000 cash bail and is due back in court for his initial appearance on May 30th.
