Entertainment today at the Manitowoc County Expo comes in a BIG package.
It’s the Monster Truck Nitro Tour with 2 shows coming up at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m.
The show features a freestyle skills contest in which the fans are the judges, as well as side-by-side races, and as Monster Truck Nitro tour announcer Mike Fonder explains, it just wouldn’t be a full Monster Truck show without smashing some junk cars.
“C’mon out and see the high-flyin’, car crushin’ monster trucks,” he encourages. “We do have cars at this show. Some monster truck shows you see on tv, they don’t use junk cars. We’re old school…we’ve been in the industry a long time. We feel that’s part of the show.”

Tickets are also available for pit parties at both noon and 6 pm giving fans the chance to see the cars up close, have Q&A with the drivers, and even take a ride in one of the 4-wheel behemoths.
