Road Repairs on Highway 42

Most road construction work in the state will be paused until Tuesday to facilitate holiday traffic. Work will then resume on Highway 42 in Manitowoc County North of Two Rivers from 35^th Place in the village of Two Rivers to just north of Lakeshore Road in the town of Two Creeks. The project includes replacement of existing culverts, replacement of asphalt and associated jobs like grading, guard rails, pavement marking, curb and gutter and incidentals. Highway 42 will have some detours until the work is completed, but it will be open to traffic until early June for the Memorial Day holiday.
