Progress is continuing to be made in the Sandy Bay subdivisions in Two Rivers.
We spoke to City Manager Greg Buckley who said that the subdivision was created in the early 2000s, but it really started taking off in the last few years.
He told Seehafer News, “Last year we had 6 new houses built, this year we’ll see…I think 5 new homes.”
While many lots are already occupied, there are still 17 and a half acres of undeveloped land.
“Those are listed with a realtor locally, and we’ve had some folks purchase lots to build their own homes and we have had some spec home activity up there as well which is very good to see,” Buckley said.
The Sandy Bay Highlands Subdivision is located at Sandy Bay Road just north of Neshotah Park.
