Mishicot faces Peshtigo this afternoon at 4:30 in the WIAA Division-3 Girls Softball Sectional, with the winner advancing to state at Goodman Diamond in Madison.
The site of today’s game is at Orby Jones Sports Complex in Gillett.
Elsewhere, Algoma meets Iola-Scandinavia in the D-4 Sectional finals at Crivitz in another 4:30 start.
Regional championship games are also scheduled in Division-1 Boys Baseball. Manitowoc Lincoln plays host to Slinger at 5:00 at Municipal Field.
Regional title games were played in D-2 and 3 yesterday.
Two-time defending state champion Denmark edged Wrightstown 6-to-5 and Chilton, the other top seed in the bracket, shut out Campbellsport 6-0.
In Division-3 Regional Final games of local interest, New Holstein beat Mishicot 3-to-1 and Kiel blanked Southern Door 3-0, setting up an All-EWC matchup in Tuesday’s Sectional at Shiocton.
