The Calumet, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan Farm Service Agency office will be hosting an open house regarding the 2023 County Committee Election process.
The county committee nomination period begins on June 15th and nomination forms must be postmarked or received at the FSA office by closing time on August 1st.
The counties are divided into local administrative areas that will nominate and elect one producer to serve a three-year term on the FSA County Committee.
Farmers and their spouses may nominate themselves or others, and organizations representing minorities and women may also nominate candidates.
In order to become a candidate, an eligible individual must sign an FSA-669A nomination form.
The open house will be held on June 21st from 1-3 pm at each of the Calumet County, Manitowoc County, and Sheboygan County FSA offices.
