The trans pride flag is currently flying over Madison’s city hall. Yesterday, Satya Rhodes-Conway, the mayor, assisted in raising the flag.
The trans flag is being flown at the city hall for the first time in Madison.
The flag, according to trans Alder Dina Nina Martinez-Rutherford, demonstrates Madison’s “profound commitment to inclusivity, acceptance, and the protection” of trans people.
The new flag is now flying above city hall alongside the American flag and the Progress Pride flag.
