Top baseball players in the Big East Conference this spring have received post-season recognition.
Three local players were unanimous first-team all-conference selections.
They are Manitowoc Lutheran senior outfielder Sawyer Stuebs and Mishicot sophomore shortstop Nolan Sand, who also earned first-team honors as a pitcher.
Howards Grove senior Kyle Damrow was a two-way pick, unanimously as a first baseman, and as a pitcher.
Tigers teammates 2nd baseman Jonah Walleser and catcher Drew Damrow were also voted first-team all-conference.
Three Mishicot players were chosen 2nd team all-league, namely senior left-fielder Kaden Kowalski, junior infielder Will Garceau and senior catcher Ben Griffrey.
And the Honorable Mention list included: Lutheran Lancer players Jonah Melso, Logan Haupt, and Caden Stanzel along with the Reedsville trio of Ayden Sebo, Levi Korstad, and Kodie Bubolz.
Random Lake’s Matt Merlo was voted unanimously as Big East Player of the Year.
